Your gateway to seamless IoT integration
PRIZM Core Neo is a compact 40 × 40 mm IoT controller board built for fast development and reliable deployment of connected devices. It combines a dual-core ESP32-S3 processor, LTE Cat. 1 bis cellular and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, onboard sensors, and a flexible 2 × 20 pin expansion header — so you can go from prototype to production without changing platforms.
Applications are deployed and updated over the air through the PRIZM cloud, and every cellular board ships ready to connect: a pre-provisioned SIM and a 500 MB data plan valid for 10 years are included in the box.
Why Core Neo
- Connect anywhere — Global LTE Cat. 1 bis cellular plus 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, so your product stays online whether or not local Wi-Fi is available.
- Online out of the box — Includes a SIM and a 10-year, 500 MB data plan. No carrier contract to set up.
- Update over the air — Deploy and update firmware remotely through the PRIZM cloud. No physical access required after install.
- Build fast — A 2 × 20 pin expansion header and a Qwiic-compatible I²C connector let you snap in sensors and carrier boards in minutes.
- Small footprint — A 40 × 40 mm body drops into space-constrained enclosures.
- Rugged — Rated for −40 °C to +85 °C operation.

FAQ
Does the cellular board need a data plan or SIM setup?
No. Each cellular board ships with a pre-provisioned SIM and a 500 MB data plan valid for 10 years. It’s online out of the box.
Is an LTE antenna included?
Yes. An IPEX 1 / U.FL LTE antenna is included. Attach it before using cellular communication.
How do I load and update my application?
Applications are deployed and updated over the air through the PRIZM cloud, so no physical access is needed after installation. USB-C can also be used for firmware recovery, debugging, or serial console access when required.
Can I use it without cellular?
Yes — the board also has 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi-only variants (without the cellular module) are available upon request.
What sensors can I connect?
The Qwiic-compatible I²C connector works with the wide range of SparkFun Qwiic and Adafruit STEMMA QT sensor boards. Check for I²C address conflicts with the onboard accelerometer (0x18) and RTC (0x52).
What power supply should I use?
A stable 5 V supply. For the cellular model, use at least 2 A to ensure stable operation during LTE network registration and data transmission.
